About CHD Design Works
CHD Design Works was founded in 2007 by Chris Hennegan, who at that time was Triumph Motorcycles’ Senior Designer. Since then, we have worked with a range of Motorcycle OEMs and other transportation companies and our team are fully experienced in delivering all aspects of design from concept ideation through to production delivery.
CHD continue to be best known for our styling work with Triumph Motorcycles. A timeline of this work is shown below.
In addition to these highly visible and highly acclaimed projects, CHD work with a variety of other clients, covering most markets and product types in the two-wheeled vehicle segments, with the full range of current and emerging power train options. In some cases our responsibilities extend to include wider aspects of motorcycle design from concept engineering to detailed component release, through to engineering and broader consultancy.
About Chris Hennegan
Chris Hennegan has worked in engineering and design within the motorcycle industry for over 25 years and is quite uniquely placed to lead a design company such as CHD, spanning as it does the full range of activities from concept initiation to production…
At CHD you will never find us resting on our laurels or finding satisfaction in our past successes. We are only as good as our last projects and our expectations are exceedingly high. The legacy of the 675 Daytona’s success has meant that there is absolutely no place for complacency if standards are to be maintained and this sentiment is as alive in the team at CHD today as it was in 2007.

Of necessity, undisclosed work over the years covers a far wider variety of clients, market positions and technology than this brief history can show. Typically CHD can be working on 5 or more major new model platforms at any one time.
